Bio

Since 2022 Andriy Balinskyy has been a research associate in the Machine Learning Group at TU Kaiserslautern led by Prof. Dr. Marius Kloft. In 2017, he obtained his bachelor's degree in Software Engineering in Ukraine at Odesа Polytechnic National University. In 2021, with the thesis "Interpretable Deep Multimodal Anomaly Detection," supervised by Prof. Kloft, he obtained his master's degree in Computer Science at TU Kaiserslautern. He spent the winter semester of 2019 studying abroad in France at Université Grenoble-Alpes. During his studies, he worked as a software development intern in various software companies and as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Kloft.

Research interests

Andriy Balinskyy is interested in basic research in the domain of machine learning. He has been working on anomaly detection, multimodal learning, explainable machine learning, and deep learning.
