Bio

Since 2019 Tobias Michels is part of the Machine Learning Group at TU Kaiserslautern led by Prof. Dr. Marius Kloft, where he is now working as a researcher. He obtained his master's degree in computer science from TU Kaiserslautern in 2022, presenting a thesis about the topic of "Deep time-series anomaly detection". Tobias also obtained his bachelor's degree in computer science from TU Kaiserslautern in 2019.

Research interests

Tobias Michels is interested in machine learning as a broad and diverse field of research, including both theory and applications. Adversarial examples, anomaly detection, and explainable machine learning are among the topics that he has been working on.
